THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
This event is hosted by the University of East Anglia and is part of the UEA Live: Spring 2022 Programme. Jarrold is proud to be the official bookseller for UEA Live.
Sisters Natalie and Naomi Evans co-founded the anti-racist platform Everyday Racism in 2020, after a video of Natalie confronting two men racially abusing a ticket conductor went viral on Twitter. In their first book, The Mixed Race Experience, they share their experiences of growing up mixed race in Britain, how they process, understand and learn about their identity and use their privilege to advocate for change. Natalie and Naomi will be joined in conversation by author and UEA Professor of Medical and Health Humanities, Christie Watson.
