Paper Flower Workshop with Floragami
Thursday, 27th March, 6 - 9pm
Join us for our first ever Floragami workshop at Jarrolds, where Meg the owner of Floragami will help you create your own exquisite paper Peony. Designed to suit all artistic abilities Meg will guide you through every step of the process from stamen to stem with careful instruction enabling you to create your own paper flower to take home.
There will be tutorials and kits available afterwards so you can make more in your own time and add to your flourishing collection!
Meg, the owner of "Floragami" creates beautifully delicate crepe paper flowers from her home in Norwich; inspired by her curiosity of all things paper and her love of flowers.
Each flower and botanical piece is unique, with every petal cut from the finest crepe paper and intricately coloured and shaped by hand.
Her workshops are designed to be relaxed, fun and engaging and suitable for all artistic abilities. Each workshop focuses on a different bloom and at the end you will have made your own exquisite paper flower.
Workshop will start promptly at 6pm and please bring reading glasses and left handed scissors if you need them.
"I don’t think it’s over dramatic to say that discovering these delightful workshops with the even more delightful Meg have changed my life for the better. I have rediscovered my love for craft, mindfulness and connection with similar creative people.
Meg teaches in an intuitive and calm way, ensuring that the initially daunting task ahead very soon seems achievable and within reach. I’ve never been to a workshop of Megs where every single person isn’t totally enchanted with what they make. I’m hooked!"
