We have a rare and exciting opportunity to recruit a full-time administrator into our Furniture Admin team. 

Organised and methodical, with great attention to detail, you will work with suppliers, contacting and liaising with them for information. You will create new supplier spreadsheets and provide data manipulation of product information from suppliers. You will work closely with the Furniture Buyer and ecommerce team.

You will have a full understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

This position is fast paced and requires someone who can learn quickly and work with efficiency and attention to detail whilst demonstrating a calm working style. Liaison with buyers, senior management, colleagues and suppliers will be a key part of this role and therefore will demand a confident communicator who can deliver information clearly and precisely.

Outstanding administration skills and experience in organising and prioritising numerous tasks simultaneously is essential.

Key tasks will include:

  • Full ownership of the Furniture category product and pricing catalogue in both Swan FRS for instore and online.
  • Maintaining the Swan FRS product catalogue:
  • Price changes
  • Creating new supplier spreadsheets when new ranges are added
  • Managing spreadsheets when variants are removed or added to the range
  • Importing the XML’s to update shop floor, app and web api’s
  • Contacting/liaising with suppliers for information
  • Data manipulation of product information from suppliers
  • Adding full enrichment data to the spreadsheets, such as attributes & long descriptions
  • Uploading the xml files generated from Excel to Swan FRS
  • Validating the product set up & pricing
  • Ticketing through Swan inc. narratives (price tickets and accessory label ID & barcode)
  • Copy writing
  • Stock adjustments – (write on/off) on Swan FRS
  • Stock take procedures, at times this will require time out of the office
  • Full understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Some retail and/or furniture product knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
