Atkinsons
In 1799 James Atkinson left his native Cumberland for London to seek his fortune as a perfumer. Legend tells that James brought with him from Cumberland a real bear that he kept outside his first premises to promote his marvelous products and which became something of a tourist attraction. Word of James’ inimitable creations spread and, inevitably, it was not long before he was providing the finest names in English and European aristocracy with the most exclusive and bespoke bouquets. James was swiftly bestowed the title of official Perfumer to the Royal court of England.
Atkinsons is now reborn into the 21st century with a glorious new fragrance collection, spritzing the air with a combination of eccentricity, impeccable manners and style; the same style that made Atkinsons in 1826 the preferred perfume brand of the Royal Family.
