What’s Happening in Norwich for Pride 2024?
As Norwich gears up for Pride 2024, we’re thrilled to offer a handy guide to all our wonderful customers joining the festivities. From the main parade to a variety of engaging events and activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy over the Pride weekend.
Meet The Makers
This year’s Norwich Pride Makers Market will be the biggest yet, featuring nearly 50 stalls in Chantry Car Park with unique art and designs. Some notable artists include:
Crashcantdraw: Norwich-based illustrator focusing on trans joy, DnD, and independent publishing.

Art Exhibition - TRANCESTRY
"Trancestry" reflects on the history and lineage of the transgender community. This year's exhibition, marking 20 years since the Gender Recognition Act, showcases the transgender community’s history and resilience. The exhibition includes works from various LGBTQIA+ artists and will be held at The Assembly House from July 22nd to July 27th.
Queer Norfolk
Queer Norfolk is a project documenting Norfolk's LGBTQ+ history through an online archive. It reveals stories like a lesbian scientist discovering the Norfolk Broads were man-made, and a visionary lesbian and bisexual women’s group that welcomed transgender members.

The Pride March will start at City Hall at 1 pm, passing landmarks such as The Guildhall, Exchange Street, and The Haymarket, ending at Chapelfield Gardens.
