Jarrold is taking part in the Go Go Gorillas! project and sponsoring a gorilla for the trail which will take place over the summer all over Norwich, in aid of Break and the Born Free Foundation.
The project is organised by leading arts and education company Wild in Art and Break and the aim is to provide an interactive arts event, encourage the public to discover Norwich and help raise awareness of key environmental
issues including endangered species such as gorillas.
Jarrold have comissioned artist Andrea Bassil to design and decorate the store's gorilla. Andrea has been working on the Gorilla for the past few months and he has now been completed!
UPDATE: Our gorilla has now been named Amazin' Grace and his body features various games which you can complete, including several mazes and a Spot and Count game.
Amazin' Grace will be on display in Jarrold from the end of June until the beginning of September. We will also have on display two mini gorillas from Robert Kett Junior School and Debbie Leeming Childminding Group!
