George Skipper: The Architect’s Life and Works
A Book Launch
Tuesday 24 November, 6.30pm
Tickets free, bookable online
Jarrold is delighted to bring you an evening with Richard Barnes, author of the definitive new book on revered Norfolk architect George Skipper (1856-1948).
Skipper is well-known for his designs in East Anglia, including Jarrold’s Exchange Street facade, but this is the first book to illustrate and name all his architectural works across Norfolk, Cambridge, London and Somerset and to introduce Skipper as a personality, as well as an artist-architect. Join us as we find out more in what promises to be a fascinating evening.
Author Richard Barnes will be in conversation with local author and broadcaster Pete Goodrum and there will be a chance to put your questions to the speakers.
This event will be hosted online and you can pre-order the book now
