Louis Latour Grande Reserve Brut Nv Halves Champagne Gosset 37.5cl
This champagne was created with the vision of producing one of the very best non-vintage bruts and is a blend of only Grand and Premier Cru grapes. After being aged for a minimum of 5 years on lees, it is presented in the same antique-style bottle used when the House first started producing sparkling wines.
Tasting note: This champagne is fresh, well-balanced, and complex. On the nose, aromas mirror that of an early spring bouquet, with irises, daffodils, hyacinths, camomile blossom, lime, and grass plants coming through. On the palate, notes of fig and candied cherries are present while subtle floral notes offer a sweet sophistication. The body presents flavours of lightly roasted coffee, almonds, and Melba toast, while offering a finish that is simultaneously crisp, potent, and irresistibly long.
Food pairing: Makes a perfect pairing to a white meat such as chicken, guinea fowl, or rabbit, served either roasted or casseroled.
