This is a stellar Burgundy domaine, crafting wines of exceptional quality from some of the most prized vineyard plots in the world. The Amoit family has been living in Chassagne since 1920 and, today, the 4th generation of the family continues the traditions, but also incorporates a little modernity which has taken the quality of the wines to new heights. This is their village bottling, crafted from very high-quality sites of 50-year-old vines. 2021 was a very low-yielding vintage after heavy April frosts. This is a classic expression of Chassagne-Montrachet which is rich and rounded with a streak of minerality - a lovely wine with great balance and fine texture.

The domaine was founded in 1920 with the acquisition of the following Chassagne-Montrachet plots: Les Caillerets, Les Vergers, Clos Saint Jean and Dents de Chien, which became Le Montrachet Grand Cru in 1937. Today, the Amoit familys 4th generation looks after everything required. Thierry devotes himself to the vineyard and winemaking while Fabrice develops the business in France and abroad. This 4th generation at the helm carries on the family philosophy, made up of tradition mixed with modernity, to prepare passing on wine production to the next generation. A stellar domaine producing a range of exceptional wines.
