Our Small Batch range of whiskies are not only a testament to the great work the distillers do but they are also great fun to create and normally involve plenty of tasting along the way. The release is no exception. After trying to marry lots of different casks together and ending up with lots of lovely whisky – it is incredibly satisfying when you find a marriage that just works better than others. This release is the result of a perfect union between single malts matured in Bourbon casks & Oloroso casks. The process of taking cask samples and marrying them together in the glass is not a fast process and when you do finally get a winner, it is prudent to leave it in the glass for some time to see how it will develop. This whisky just got better and better. The end result is single malt whisky, limited to just 2100 bottles that is a joy to drink.
