Seasalt designs are inspired by the heritage and traditions of the sea. The coastline, countryside and landscapes of Cornwall inspire many of their products, colour palettes and textures, as well as their beautiful unique textile prints. Seasalt began its journey in 1981 in Penzance, West Cornwall. Don Chadwick opened his first general clothing store selling workwear for local farmers, fisherman and artists. Inspired by the creative coastal scenery, his sons decided to create their own brand and start designing clothing collections.
What inspires Seasalt’s designs?
With Seasalt’s design studios looking out across Falmouth Bay, there is constant inspiration for the team; this you can see from their use of colour, texture, and prints. Seasalt want to inspire all women to feel confident in what they wear. Every season they offer a great choice of styles and prints, something to suit everybody.
